University of Michigan Museum of Art with an event celebrating zines, comics, self-publishing, and DIY art, in conjunction with the La Raza Art and Media Collective exhibition. It was a blast sharing work at Behind the Zines and showcasing some of my favorite Flatlands Press titles alongside incredible works from my Chicago peers. Big thanks to Nicole Marroquin for the support and to the U-M Museum of Art for the invitation!
The next day, I joined the first-ever Zine Jamboree in Ypsilanti. It was such a joy to table and connect with the crowd, sharing Flatlands Press work and publications from fellow CPG members. Sold some work, made new connections, and had an easy pack-out! Shout-out to everyone who stopped by — you made it all worth it!
